I like the black and white effect of the Ne-yo photo-shoot. I think Ne-yo looks very sleek and cool in the costume chosen for him. The black and white effect add to the cool and sophisticated look of the image. The black and white suit he's wearing contrasts with the dark background of the image, making it stand out. Also the lighting is an unusual kind of lighting which is different than usual photo lighting. It like a spot light directed on to Ne-yo leaving the surrounding space in darkness.
I like the positioning and use of hands on the Usher photo-shoot. I feel the use of hands grabbing usher gives the effect of usher being irresistible. I like the white space used surrounding the image, it make usher stand out well from the background.
I have looked at this image of James Bond, as i feel this image could be very inspirational to my project. I like the unique positioning of the legs. I think it is very different and creative way of using photography, i would like to experiment with this idea in my project.
